From Gienga

People are using the articles written here as guides, therefore it is very important to understand the basic guidelines of writing an article.
[edit] Article writing basic guidelines
- Don't write everything you know about the subject, like Wikipedia. Instead, keep in mind to write about how to learn the subject.
- Layout matters. Good articles start with introductions, continue with a clear structure, and end with standard appendices such as references and related articles.
- Please link the skills and the sub-subjects that are mentioned in the article. It encourages others to write about them.
- People who read Gienga have different backgrounds, education and worldviews. Make your article accessible and understandable for as many readers as possible. Remember readers are reading the article to learn. It is possible that the reader knows nothing about the subject.
- Pay attention to spelling, particularly of new page names. Articles with good spelling and proper grammar will encourage further contributions of good content. Proper spelling of an article name will also make it easier for other authors to link their articles to your article. Sloppiness in one aspect of writing can lead to sloppiness in others. It's not that big a deal, but why not get it right?
- Write from true experience or knowledge. Contribute, do not confuse the readers and make them learn the wrong way.
